“Art is a line around your thoughts. ”
- Gustav Klimt
About
I am a young New York artist who is creating work in both traditional and digital mediums, and has been for nearly 10 years. My art takes on issues regarding beauty in society, as well as other social issues like mental health, women’s rights, and racial inequality. Art has always been a part of my life and I believe it will remain for as long as I’m alive. Often my personal works are therapeutic or from my own stream of consciousness.
I believe art plays a huge role in society and that role can be many things. Art can be a distraction from the day to day life, but it can also echo life and amplify issues in society. Recently there has been much art made about the pandemic and about necessary movements that strive for equality. I think it’s important as an artist to not be quiet and to create in support of these movements.
I often take inspiration from whatever I’m hyper fixated on at that given moment, this goes for the art that I sell as well. I find myself moving with some trends but also keeping my own interests in consideration. I’d like to think that my love of horror and the macabre comes out in some of my work, especially over the last two years.
In the near future, I would like to create my own short form zines, each themed differently. I will also be continuing to grow my shop for people to support these endeavors and to enjoy my art.
